We leave from the Port of Samana on our Catamaran Motor Boat and speed accross Samana Bay to Los Haitises National Park. A visit to Los Haitises National Park is fascinating. It is an unforgettable tour to admire as very few places in the world have such an historical past. It is a paradise that transports us to the time of the dinosaurs. Haitises means Land of High Mountains, although the set of these special looking hills or "hummocks" has heights ranging between 30 and 40 meters. We will visit Caves with Petroglyphs left by the Tainos Indians and go through untamed Mangroves. Afterwards, we go spend the rest of the day to the Famous Beach of Cayo Levantado Island !
